Manon was born in Plouescat, a tiny little village on the coast of Brittany. Throughout her childhood, she spent the holidays travelling across France and Europe with her parents, which is when she first developed an interest in languages. She studied English, Latin, German and a bit of Spanish and Romanian at university.
She passed her degree in languages and international marketing before doing a master’s in project management. For the second year of this master’s, she completed a translation and writing course, which involved an internship. She joined Mother Tongue in July 2013.
