Marina is from Moscow, where bears allegedly roam dark side alleys and people gather cranberries at the Moss (Mokhovaya) Square. She holds a Master’s degree in translation and linguistics and an MBA from Aberystwyth University, where she won the Directors’ Prize for the best MBA Student in 2011. Her final thesis was on the translation requirements in the green energy sector.
Following graduation, Marina thought that Mother Tongue was the natural place for her to develop her career, and she particularly enjoys handling complex production and transcreation projects spanning multiple markets and time zones.
Marina has volunteered for Translators without Borders and took part in the Race for Life.
